Creating wealth affirmations to attract money into your life can work really well, providing you believe in them, and have no limiting beliefs holding you back.
Unfortunately for many people, limiting beliefs lurk at the back of their mind saying “you’ll never do it, so why bother”!!
It’s important to have faith in yourself and believe any phrases you’re repeating each day for things to work.
If you have any negative thoughts, and no belief in the affirmations you’ve created, you may find it very hard to make them work for you.
Read my post on overcoming limiting self beliefs before using the affirmations on this page.
Focus on what you want, not what you don’t want
A common mistake many of us make when trying to manifest something is thinking about what we don’t want to happen. For example “I don’t want to be in debt”, or I hate not having any money”
What you’re dong is focusing your mind on the negative. The subconscious doesn’t understand negative words and only hears “debt” or “no money.”
What typically happens is that you end up getting into more debt, and repelling money away from you.
Instead focus on the positives. Even if you’re in serious debt and have no money, Think and act as if you’re wealthy and can pay off all your debts.
This is NOT to say ignore the situation and bury your head in the sand. This is simply believe and expect money will come into your life.
Urgency will get faster results!!
That brings us to the next key principle of using present tense. Using terms like “I will,” or “I plan to” does not put them in the here and now. It puts them into the future and your subconscious mind may or may not get around to them since they are not immediate.
You want to create a sense of urgency, in a sense and get used to things being right now. “I attract money easily.” “I exercise every day.” “I am happy.”
Don’t focus on too many wealth affirmations at once. You’ll end up feeling overwhelmed and reduce their effectiveness. Just start with one or two and focus entirely on those for 90 days. This is how long it takes to change a habit, or form new ways of thinking.
Keep it to the point
You also want to keep your wealth affirmations short and to the point. You don’t need a long affirmation. Using a short sentence or statement is much easier to remember and it’s easier to get into the practice of using it throughout the day.
To maximize the results and to get into the habit of using them, you need to use them several times a day. This is one reason why it’s good to only use one or two at a time.
The one or two areas that are most important to you right now and what you want to achieve right now. Avoid working on ten different aspects of your life at once. Keep it simple.
You also have to be consistent and repeat your affirmations at least twice a day every day. The best times are first thing in the morning and last thing at night before you go to sleep.
Personally I find those times of day are when I’m at my most receptive for affirmations, and get my best creative thoughts
Here are a few wealth affirmations to get you started
I am a money magnet
Money flows into my life
I pay my bills easily and on time
I love money
I understand there is enough wealth for everyone
I look wealthy and act as if I am wealthy
Abundance fills my life
I expect wealth and abundance
Wealth and abundance is my birth right
I deserve to be wealthy
I love helping others with my wealth
I have the talent and resources to create wealth
My energy is aligned with wealth and abundance
I am changing from a poverty mindset to a wealth mindset
I love having the freedom that being wealthy gives.
Every action I take is moving me one step closer to my financial goals”
Making follow through plans for success!
Naturally, you’ll need a plan of action as well, as affirmations. Wealth won’t just magically appear!
The plan will get results, and the affirmations will drive you on to get those results.
Create your plan by deciding what you want, then breaking it down into smaller bite size goals.
Creating a daily task planner is very helful and will keep you on track. It doesn’t need to be complicated. Keep it simple and tick things off as you get them done.
I create my daily task planner the night before. I’ve been doing this for a while now and it’s been a huge help. Providing you’re realistic in what you can get done, you’ll see how it can actually speed up your progress.
Wealth means different things to different people, but as I keep saying, you MUST believe
you deserve it, and that no matter what your current situation is YOU CAN change it!
It doesn’t matter how old you are, or how many failures you’ve had. That’s all in the past. Let go of all that negative stuff and focus on the here and now.
I know only too well what it’s like to get hung up on past mistakes. And I also know how it can hold you back.
Be realistic and your progress will soar!
If you have a lot of negativity to overcome, or have no money at all, try tailoring affirmations to fit in with your current situation. You can change them as you progress, and it will stop you feeling defeated. It will also take the pressure off.
As I said it can take up to 90 days to change your way of thinking from old to new. Taking the pressure off will allow you to relax and progress at your own rate. You won’t be tempted to give in so easily, and you may see faster results in the long run!
For example instead of saying “abundance fills my life” you could say “I am starting to believe that abundance fills my life.”
Instead of saying “I pay my bills easily and on time” you could say
“I am slowly able to pay some of my bills on time”
